William Yang: Shadows — Walker Art Center, March 2008

This postcard was designed on the occasion of William Yang's performance, titled Shadows, at the Walker Art Center. Yang's performance consists of a storytelling session accompanied by projected slides of his photography from around the world. On the frontside of this postcard there is a forceful integration of typography and imagery. This composition — with type and image clashing and creating irregular spaces — is meant to represent how Yang's story and his projected imagery both overlap and flow during the continuum of his performance.
